Built by FN Herstal for Browning Arms Company, this Mk III carries factory rollmarks reading "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q., MADE IN BELGIUM ASSEMBLED IN PORTUGAL." It follows the classic short-recoil, tilting-barrel locked-breech design and uses a double-stack detachable box magazine for a 13+1 capacity in 9mm Luger.
The Mark III feature set is present: an external extractor, a firing-pin safety, and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety. Sights are fixed, with a white-dot front blade and a fixed, dovetailed rear notch for a clear, durable sight picture. The barrel hood is marked "CAL 9mm Luger."
