This CVA Kentucky Rifle is a Spanish-made, percussion, single-shot .45 caliber muzzleloader imported by Connecticut Valley Arms during the 1970s-1980s. It features a 33-inch octagonal steel barrel in a bright, in-the-white finish, classic brass furniture, and a full-length two-piece hardwood stock with curly maple-style staining. Authentic Eibar proof symbols and a 700 Kp/cm2 black powder proof underscore its period manufacture and intended use with black powder only.

Made in Spain and imported by Connecticut Valley Arms, this reproduction Kentucky-pattern rifle carries period-correct details and markings. The barrel top flat is marked "Connecticut Valley Arms Inc. Spain KENTUCKY Black Powder Only .45 Cal." and bears Spanish Eibar proof symbols along with the definitive black powder proof "700 Kp/cm2."
The rifle uses a percussion sidelock with an external hammer and drum-and-nipple breech, configured for black powder only. It is a single-shot muzzleloader with a 33-inch octagonal steel barrel finished bright/in-the-white and fitted with open sights, including a fixed rear sight dovetailed into the top flat.
The full-length hardwood stock shows a curly maple-style stain and is executed in two pieces joined under a rectangular brass belly plate. Brass furniture includes the buttplate, trigger guard, and nose cap, paired with a color case-style lockplate and a single trigger. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches.
As configured, this is the classic CVA Kentucky series layout from the 1970s-1980s, combining traditional styling with identifiable import and proof marks. Capacity is 1 round, consistent with a traditional muzzleloading rifle.
