The Thunder 380 is a DA/SA, hammer-fired pistol with an aluminum-alloy frame and steel slide, sized for compact carry. This example uses a fixed 3.5 in. barrel with a straight-blowback action and an 8+1 capacity in a slim single-stack format.
Factory configuration is matte black with gold-accent controls, paired with black checkered polymer grips carrying the BERSA logos. The slide features a longitudinal serrated top rib to cut glare and improve sight alignment.
Controls are straightforward and familiar: a left-side push-button magazine release, a ring-style spur hammer, and a slide-mounted safety/decocker. Built-in safeties include a magazine disconnect and a firing pin block.
Sights are the factory 3-dot set, with a white-dot front blade and a rear notch bearing two white dots. Markings include "THUNDER 380," "BERSA S.A. • RAMOS MEJIA ARGENTINA," "MADE IN ARGENTINA," and "IMPORTED BY R.S.A. ENTERPRISES INC OCEAN NJ."
