The M&P45 Shield Performance Center M2.0 is a striker-fired .45 ACP with a Performance Center tuned action, a hinged safety trigger shoe, and a tactile/audible reset. It uses a left-side magazine release and has no external thumb safety. Capacity is 7+1.
Construction is robust and duty-ready: a stainless-steel barrel and slide treated with a black Armornite finish, paired with a black polymer frame and an embedded stainless-steel chassis for strength. The M2.0 aggressive texture provides a secure grip without adding bulk.
Sight picture is fast and bright thanks to HiViz fiber-optic sights: a green front and red rear in a 3-dot configuration. Front and rear wave-style slide serrations aid manipulation in varied conditions.
