The 5 inch barrel is machined from 4140 steel, threaded 1/2x28 TPI, and shipped with a factory blast diverter. This setup keeps the muzzle device secure and ready for common 9mm accessories that match the thread spec.
The hybrid construction pairs a polymer lower reinforced with metal and an aluminum upper/handguard, finished with anodized aluminum and nitride-treated steel components. A short, free-float aluminum handguard includes M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and a full-length top Picatinny rail.
Controls are modern and ambidextrous, including the safety and magazine release. The charging system is forward-mounted on the left side, reversible, and non-reciprocating for efficient manipulation without interfering with the firing cycle.
Designed around a blowback AR-9 platform, the Jawbone Hybrid accepts Glock-pattern magazines and lists a 34+1 capacity. It weighs approximately 5 pounds and measures about 20.75 inches overall. The AR-15 buffer tube includes a GF-branded rear polymer support.
