Built on the AR-15 platform with a direct-impingement system, the Maritime Recce configuration pairs a cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, HPT/MPI barrel (factory spec) with a dedicated 6mm ARC bolt carrier group (factory spec). The barrel is 14.5" with a three-prong flash hider permanently attached (pinned and welded) for a legal overall length of approximately 16.5". The muzzle is laser-marked "6MM ARC."
The free-float aluminum handguard provides a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, plus a center alignment tab; sling attachment is via M-LOK QD adapters (no integral QD sockets). The upper receiver includes a forward assist and an ejection-port cover. Factory documentation notes a center‑tab MK16 rail interface for this model (factory spec).
Ambidextrous controls include safety levers on both sides, a Geissele "G"-logo ambidextrous magazine release, and enlarged, textured bolt-catch paddles. The trigger features a curved shoe with Geissele "G" marking (factory GFR-E specification). A Geissele Super Charging Handle engraved PN 05-313 is installed, and a Geissele-marked bolt carrier is visible through the ejection port.
The forged 7075‑T6 receiver set is finished in Geissele's Desert Dirt Color (DDC) hardcoat anodize, matched across the handguard and buffer tube; the collapsible stock is DDC-colored polymer. The collapsible stock and tan polymer pistol grip provide a length of pull from 11.5" to 15". Factory specs for this model include the Super‑42 buffer with an H2 buffer.
