The Staccato P uses a short-recoil 1911/2011 pattern with single-action-only operation and a 2011 modular grip. Both slide and frame are machined steel with a uniform black DLC finish. The textured polymer grip carries the Staccato star logo and supports the detachable double-stack magazine system.
Its 4.4-inch bushingless bull barrel is made from 416R stainless steel and features a flush-cut crown. A full-length guide rod and tool-less recoil system are factory setup, complementing the bull profile for consistent lockup.
The slide is optic-cut in a DUO/DPO-style configuration with the cover plate installed and provides front and rear cocking serrations. Dovetailed sights include a green fiber-optic front blade and a black serrated rear. The included DeltaPoint re-zero pins and Allen wrench support the cover plate interface.
Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, and a skeletonized trigger. The dustcover integrates an accessory/light rail. Factory markings include right slide "STACCATO P," chamber hood "9x19," left dustcover "20☆11," underside "STI FIREARMS LLC - GEORGETOWN, TX USA," and a small U.S. flag laser mark. Factory-published dimensions are approximately 8.0 in OAL, 5.5 in height, and about 33 oz unloaded.
