The M2.0 Metal construction uses an aluminum-alloy frame finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote with matching Tungsten Gray slide, giving the pistol a rigid feel and consistent balance. The aggressive M2.0 grip texture provides secure purchase without adding bulk.
The 5-inch threaded barrel arrives with a thread protector and is chambered in 9mm Luger. Fixed three-dot steel sights come installed, and the slide features an optics cut with a removable cover plate. An integral three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dust cover.
Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release (left-side setup). The striker-fired system uses a flat-face, hinged trigger. This configuration has no thumb safety and is marked “CAUTION – CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED.”
This example is optics-ready out of the box and includes the factory M&P M2.0 screw and plate kit (part 3011897) for mounting compatible red-dot optics. Capacity is 10+1 rounds using the included steel magazines.
A flared magazine-well funnel is installed, complementing the reversible release for streamlined reloads while maintaining the pistol’s clean profile.
