The Canik METE MC9 stands out as a micro-size 9mm with an optics-ready slide and a durable two-tone FDE/black finish. It pairs a 3.18 in cold hammer forged barrel with a matte black nitride slide and a polymer frame featuring aggressive texture and interchangeable backstraps. It includes both 15- and 12-round factory magazines plus a fitted case, holster, tools, and accessories.
Introduced at SHOT Show 2023 and imported by Century Arms (Georgia, VT), this METE-series striker-fired pistol integrates co-witness height irons, a left-side magazine release, and low-profile ambidextrous slide-stop levers. It accepts Shield RMSc-pattern micro red dots and the MECANiK MO1 family, with the slide cover plate retained by two screws.

The METE MC9 uses a semi-automatic, striker-fired, locked-breech system. Its 3.18 in cold hammer forged steel barrel and matte black nitride slide are built for longevity, while the micro-size profile maintains a compact footprint. The two-tone FDE/black color scheme gives clear visual contrast between frame and slide.
The optics-ready slide accepts Shield RMSc-pattern micro red dots and the MECANiK MO1 family. Co-witness height iron sights are dovetailed, with a white dot front and a black, drift-adjustable rear. A two-screw cover plate secures the optics cut when no optic is installed.
Ergonomics include aggressive molded grip texture with the CANIK logo and interchangeable backstraps to fine-tune hand fit. Controls consist of a left-side magazine release and low-profile ambidextrous slide-stop levers. A flat-faced trigger with an integral safety blade provides a consistent press.
Safety features include a trigger safety, a firing pin block, and a loaded-chamber indicator witness port on the barrel hood. A 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover supports compact lights or lasers. Proof and import markings read “CENTURY ARMS INC GEORGIA, VT, Made in Turkey.”
