What's Included
- Winchester Model 42 Field Grade .410 Bore pump-action shotgun
This Model 42 is a late-production example from the model’s final year, 1963. It retains the pre-64 Winchester approach with polished blue finishes and milled-steel construction, and it was made in the United States. The takedown design supports easy storage and transport.
The 26" plain round barrel is Winchester Proof Steel with a fixed Full choke and a 3" chamber, set up for .410 loads that benefit from the tighter constriction. A single front bead provides a clean sight picture.
Feeding is via a bottom-loading, under-barrel tubular magazine with a 5+1 capacity, and ejection is to the right. The action is a classic pump with the signature Winchester Model 42 handling and layout.
The furniture includes an uncheckered walnut stock with a straight comb and pistol grip, matched to a walnut ribbed corncob fore-end. A checkered steel buttplate with the Winchester logo and a 14.0" length of pull complete the Field Grade configuration.
