This Bushmaster XM15-E2S is a classic AR-15 pattern carbine with the Windham, ME roll mark, a detail many buyers look for. Built on aluminum alloy receivers and marked Windham, ME on the lower, this XM15-E2S reflects the configuration many enthusiasts associate with Bushmaster’s classic carbines. It runs a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action and includes the forward assist, ejection port cover, and brass deflector.
The barrel is marked "5.56 NATO 1/9" and uses a 1:9 twist. It is a 14.5" barrel pinned and welded to 16.5" using a permanently attached multi-port brake, delivering the legal overall barrel assembly length while preserving compact carbine handling.
The upper is a flat-top design fitted with a detachable A2-style carry handle. Sighting is handled by a fixed A2 front sight base with sling swivel and an A2 rear sight drum on the carry handle, providing a familiar and rugged iron-sight setup.
Furniture consists of two-piece polymer M4-style handguards secured by a delta ring, an A2-pattern polymer pistol grip, and an M4-style 6-position stock that is pinned. The manual safety selector provides straightforward control, and the flat-top receiver rail sits under the detachable handle.
This carbine accepts STANAG-pattern magazines and includes one 30-round aluminum magazine. The charging handle has been upgraded to an ambidextrous, extended-latch design, enhancing access and manipulations from either side. Length of pull measures 13.75".
