The Big Boy X Model architecture pairs a blued steel receiver and barrel with a rugged black synthetic stock and fore-end. The fore-end integrates M-LOK and Picatinny interfaces for modular accessory placement, while the stock adds practical touches like sling swivel studs and a rubber recoil pad.
Feeding is flexible thanks to the dual-load system: top off through the right-side loading gate or use the removable inner magazine tube. In .357 Mag, the tubular magazine holds 7 rounds plus 1 in the chamber for a total of 7+1.
The 17.4 in round, steel barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and currently fitted with an aftermarket perforated brake/compensator; a knurled thread protector is included. The 5/8x24 threads accept compatible muzzle devices, including flash hiders, when installed in place of the current device. The bore is clean with sharp rifling and a 1:16 twist.
Sighting is fast and visible under varied light with the fiber-optic front on a ramp and a fully adjustable fiber-optic rear. The receiver is drilled and tapped for the BB-RSM scope base and this rifle adds a receiver-mounted top Picatinny rail for broad mounting latitude.
Controls and handling are enhanced by the oversized large-loop lever wrapped in laced leather for a secure, glove-friendly stroke. A transfer-bar safety complements the lever-action operation, and the 14 in length of pull balances quick mounting with stable shouldering.
