What's Included
- Browning SA-22 Grade I (Standard) Belgian-production takedown rifle chambered in .22 LR
Built by FN in Belgium, this SA-22 reflects the Grade I (Standard) package: an unengraved blued steel receiver paired with uncheckered walnut furniture. The straight-comb stock with steel buttplate and matching walnut forearm maintain the model’s traditional look and handling.
The semi-automatic blowback action feeds from an 11-round tubular magazine housed in the buttstock and ejects spent cases from the bottom. This bottom-eject design keeps cases away from the shooter and is a hallmark of the SA-22 pattern.
The 19.25-inch barrel is fitted with a front sight on a ramped base and an adjustable open rear sight. The barrel carries the period marking "22 LONG. RIFLE SMOKELESS," consistent with early production details.
A user-adjustable, serrated takedown ring at the barrel shank allows quick separation of the barrel and receiver assemblies for transport or maintenance. With an overall length of about 37 inches and a 13.6-inch length of pull, the rifle offers compact proportions without compromising sight radius.
