The Solo Carry pairs a stainless slide with a 7075-T7 aluminum alloy frame, both finished in black. Its micro size and single-column magazine system keep the profile slim while maintaining an all-metal build made in the United States.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual thumb safety and magazine release. The pistol is striker-fired with a single-action-style trigger and uses rear-only cocking serrations for a clean slide profile.
Sights are steel, dovetail-mounted, and fixed in a low-profile configuration.
The barrel measures 2.8 inches, helping keep overall length to 5.5 inches and weight to approximately 17 ounces unloaded.
This pistol ships with five Kimber factory magazines: two 8-round and three 6-round, offering both extended and flush-fit options. Manufacturer guidance for the Solo series recommends 124–147 gr 9mm loads.
