The 4.25-inch Prodigy pairs a forged carbon-steel slide and receiver with a forged stainless steel, bushingless match-grade bull barrel. The result is a commander-length double-stack 1911 chambered in 9mm Luger with a 20+1 capacity and a compact footprint.
Controls and internals follow the single-action 1911 format, featuring ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety, and a skeletonized trigger and hammer. The wrap-around textured polymer grip module includes a large flared magwell for confident loading.
The slide uses Springfield’s AOS (Agency Optic System) interface with the cover plate installed. Sights consist of a green fiber-optic front and a black U-notch rear that is integral to the optics plate, offering a clear, straightforward sight picture.
Practical features include a black Cerakote finish on both slide and frame and an integral accessory rail on the dustcover for mounting a light. The package includes one 20-round and three 17-round magazines, plus additional parts and mounting hardware to support setup preferences.
