The Ultra Lightweight configuration pairs a 26-inch fluted stainless steel barrel and a composite stock to deliver a trim, terrain-ready Mark V. The barrel features a recessed crown and is threaded, with a fitted muzzle brake, and wears a uniform stainless finish.
The grey matte composite stock has black spider-web accents and a Monte Carlo raised comb. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and factory sling swivel studs round out the stock features, with a 13.5-inch length of pull.
The action is the Mark V bolt design with a round-knob bolt handle. Feeding is from an internal box magazine (3-round capacity) with a hinged floorplate, and a floorplate release located inside the trigger guard. Safety is managed by a bolt-shroud safety lever with a red fire indicator.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases and carries crisp roll-marks, including “ATASCADERO, CA” and “U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355.” The barrel shank is clearly marked “USE ONLY .300 WBY MAG.” The rifle is configured without sights.
