The P226 TACOPS configuration builds on the proven P226 platform with a DA/SA action, decocker, and SIG's Short Reset Trigger for a distinct reset feel. It features a spur hammer and a 4.4 in barrel in a full-size format.
The slide wears a black Nitron finish and includes front and rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation. Sighting is set up with a TruGlo TG-H3 tritium-fiber-optic front and a fixed square-notch rear, paired with a 6.3 in sight radius.
The aluminum alloy frame has a black hard-coat anodized finish and a standard tang without the extended beavertail. An integral 3-slot M1913/Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dust cover for mounting compatible lights or lasers.
SIG black polymer magwell grips integrate a flared magwell for faster reloads. Capacity is 20+1 with the included 20-round magazines, which are steel construction with extended base pads and are marked 'MADE IN USA'.
