Built by DWM in 1918, this WWI-era Artillery Luger is configured with the approximately 200 mm (7.9 in) barrel and the barrel-mounted tangent rear sight calibrated to 800 meters. The front sight is a block-base, dovetailed front blade. The forward toggle link carries the DWM scroll logo, and the chamber ring is dated "1918."
Imperial crown-over-letter acceptance stamps are present on the right side of the receiver, along with the Imperial eagle firing proof. A bore gauge marking "8,83" is visible at the barrel/receiver juncture. These features align with period German wartime issue.
Its mechanical setup follows the short-recoil, toggle-locked Luger system. The pistol is constructed with a steel frame and receiver and wears checkered wood grip panels. A manual thumb safety is fitted. A stock lug slot and a lanyard loop are present on the frame.
All observable numbers are matched on major and minor components. The included magazine has a wood base and is unnumbered, and therefore does not match. Capacity is 8+1 in 9mm Luger.
