- Factory cardboard box with matching Cimarron end label for 1887 Riot 12 GA 20 in (Part # CL 1887-20; label serial number matches this firearm)
The 20 in barrel uses a true cylinder bore and a single brass bead front sight, matching the classic 1887 Riot configuration. The action follows the original top-loading, top-eject design with a tubular magazine rated for 5+1 rounds of 12 gauge 2-3/4 in shells.
Construction is all-steel for the barrel and receiver with a uniform matte black finish. Stocking is walnut throughout, including a straight-grip buttstock and long, uncheckered fore-end, secured by a single barrel and magazine band near the muzzle. Length of pull measures 13.0 in for a compact, quick-handling profile.
Factory markings include the Cimarron F.A. Co. laser-engraved monogram within a circular cartouche on the left side of the receiver. Import and maker marks read CIMARRON FIREARMS FREDERICKSBURG TEXAS U.S.A., MANUFACTURED by BAM, PRC. The manufacturer part number is CL 1887-20.
This is a recent-release, Cimarron-licensed reproduction manufactured by WUXI-BAM in China for Cimarron. The serial number is located on the lower front of the receiver, consistent with the 1887 pattern.
