This Aero Precision X15 is an NFA Short-Barreled Rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO, set up with a 10.3 in threaded barrel and a free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard. It features an upgraded Geissele trigger and an ambidextrous extended charging handle for refined control. Built on 7075-T6 forged receivers, it includes Magpul MBUS flip-up sights and practical furniture, with a bright, clean bore that supports its ready-to-run configuration.

Built on an Aero Precision X15 lower marked "MODEL X15" and "CAL MULTI," this SBR carries factory receiver markings "AERO PRECISION LLC, TACOMA, WA" on the right side. The 7075-T6 forged aluminum receivers offer a solid foundation, with the X15/Gen 2 lower adding a flared magwell and a nylon-tipped upper-tensioning screw. A flat-top upper with forward assist, shell deflector, and ejection-port cover rounds out the receiver set.
The 10.3 in barrel is stamped "5.56," threaded, and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash suppressor. A low-profile gas block sits under a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard that includes segmented top rail sections, giving you placement flexibility for accessories while maintaining a rigid, lightweight feel.
Controls and fire-control upgrades are a focal point on this build. The Geissele aftermarket trigger provides a clean, predictable break, and the ambidextrous extended charging handle improves manipulation from either side. The rifle uses a direct-impingement system with a carbine receiver extension and castle nut, and it has a 30+1 capacity.
Furniture and sights are practical and purpose-driven. The adjustable carbine stock includes a friction lock to minimize rattle, a QD sling socket, and storage tubes. A Magpul MOE pistol grip provides a secure hold. Magpul MBUS polymer flip-up sights are installed, offering immediate backup sighting to match the flat-top receiver setup.
