This Geissele Automatics SD-556 Super Duty is a 16-inch, 5.56mm NATO AR-15 rifle built on forged aluminum receivers and finished in a professionally applied multi-tone gray/green camouflage over hardcoat anodize. It features a free-float M-LOK handguard with a full-length, T-marked Picatinny top rail, an ambidextrous safety selector, and a Magpul MOE K2-style pistol grip. Geissele rollmarks and North Wales, PA, U.S.A. markings are present, with the model noted as SD-556 and CAL 5.56 on the magwell.

The rifle uses a direct impingement, semi-automatic action and includes an open-prong flash hider, forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection port cover. The free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots and a continuous top rail with rear cross-bolts for secure mounting. Furniture includes a 6-position collapsible polymer stock and a Magpul MOE K2-style pistol grip for a more vertical hand position.
