It features a 5.87 in cold-hammer-forged, polygonal-rifled threaded barrel with a service O-ring, DA/SA operation with both a decocking lever and frame-mounted safety, raised 3-dot sights, and an integral HK universal accessory rail. It comes with two 12-round factory magazines, the factory case, and the HK Mark 23 Operator’s Manual, with matching serial information noted on the pistol and import label.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.

Engineered for durability, the Mark 23 uses a cold-hammer-forged 5.87 in barrel with polygonal rifling and a replaceable muzzle O-ring to enhance barrel-to-slide lockup. The barrel is threaded and marked Cal. .45 Auto, with a DE proof marking consistent with German production. A captured recoil/buffer spring assembly is included by design.
The DA/SA system combines a frame-mounted safety and a separate decocking lever, allowing both traditional DA/SA operation and cocked-and-locked carry. Internal safety features include a firing pin block, hammer intercept notch, and a disconnector. An ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release supports intuitive reloads.
Sight alignment is straightforward with raised 3-dot iron sights: a tall fixed patridge front and a fully adjustable rear for windage and elevation. The long 7.76 in sight radius supports precise aiming. An integral HK universal accessory rail is molded into the frame for mounting compatible accessories.
The polymer frame incorporates an embedded metal locking insert for strength. Surfaces reflect HK’s corrosion-resistant maritime treatment per HK literature.
