The SP-01 configuration pairs a steel frame and full-length dust cover with CZ's classic slide-in-frame design for a low-profile slide and extended bearing surfaces. The frame, slide, and receiver all wear CZ's durable black Polycoat finish, with front and rear slide serrations for confident manipulation. A ring-style hammer and a manual thumb safety complete its DA/SA operating system; this example is the manual-safety configuration with no decocker.
The 4.6 inch steel barrel features a nitrided treatment. Fixed 3-dot night sights are installed, with a Tru-Dot-marked rear unit. An integral three-slot accessory rail is machined into the dust cover for mounting compatible lights or accessories, and a lanyard loop is fitted at the butt.
This pistol is configured with green checkered aluminum CZ-logo grip panels installed, providing a distinctive look and positive texture. A spare set of black checkered rubber CZ panels is included, allowing the buyer to swap to the traditional factory-style grips if desired.
Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 10+1 capacity, it comes with one 10-round magazine. Origin is the Czech Republic, with a CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import mark and a Czech proof mark bearing a '20' date code. The slide, frame, and barrel hood carry matching serial numbers.
