The M&P 45 Shield is a striker-fired, single-stack .45 Auto with a 3.3 in barrel, designed for a slim footprint while maintaining .45 ACP capability. This example is the Thumb Safety version and retains the left-side magazine release and trigger safety system.
The slide and barrel are stainless steel with an Armornite finish for corrosion resistance and a uniform black appearance. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation. The slide legend indicates no magazine disconnect, and the dustcover is configured with no accessory rail.
Sight upgrades are installed: tritium 3-dot night sights with a high-visibility orange-ringed tritium front and a green 2-dot tritium rear. An adhesive granulate grip wrap is applied to the frame for added traction.
Capacity is 6+1 with a flush magazine and 7+1 with an extended magazine. This pistol includes nine 7-round magazines and one 6-round magazine, offering a substantial ready-to-go loadout. The factory box is labeled SKU 180022 to match the pistol.
