The Enhanced Elite configuration adds practical upgrades to the proven P229 platform. This example pairs a Nitron-finished slide with an alloy beavertail frame and forward cocking serrations. It is chambered in 9mm with a 3.9-inch barrel and uses an external extractor.
Controls are classic DA/SA with a hammer, decocking lever, and firing pin safety. The factory Short Reset Trigger (SRT) enables a shorter reset for faster follow-up shots. Fixed SIGLITE tritium night sights are installed.
This California-compliant model incorporates a top-mounted pop-up loaded-chamber indicator flag marked "LOADED WHEN UP" and ships with six 10-round magazines. The slide is marked P229 Elite, the barrel hood is marked 9mm x 19, and the frame is marked SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA. The serial on the frame matches the case label.
Two-piece textured grip panels with circular medallions are installed in place of the factory E2 module, which is included but not installed. An integral accessory rail with three slots is machined into the frame for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
