Notable TACOPS upgrades include ambidextrous safeties, an extended beavertail with memory bump, front strap and mainspring housing checkering, a flared magwell funnel, and a slide milled for optics with a removable plate. It comes with four 9-round magazines and the SIG Sauer factory hard case.

The TACOPS configuration brings practical upgrades to the classic 1911 platform. This pistol features an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, an extended beavertail grip safety with a memory bump, and a flared magazine well funnel to streamline reloads. The skeletonized, lightened trigger and Commander-style skeletonized hammer support a clean single-action-only operation.
The full-size, 5-inch Government-length build is chambered in 10mm Auto with a 9+1 capacity. An integral 3-slot accessory rail on the dust cover offers straightforward mounting for compatible lights or lasers. Textured black grip panels with SIG medallions, along with front strap and mainspring housing checkering, provide a confident hold.
The two-tone appearance pairs a light-colored, square-profile slide with a black frame and controls. The slide includes rear cocking serrations and is optic-milled with a removable plate retained by four screws. Iron sights consist of a dovetailed front and a square-notch rear with two dots (tritium not verified).
Built in the USA and designated by SIG Sauer as model 1911 TACOPS (mfg part number 1911R-10-TACOPS), this example includes four 9-round magazines and presents in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.
