The LE6920 is Colt's M4 Carbine-pattern semi-automatic rifle built on the AR-15 platform. This example uses a direct-impingement system with a carbine-length gas system and aluminum alloy receivers finished in matte black. It includes a manual safety and is made in the United States.
The 16-inch M4-profile barrel has the M203 step and is marked "C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7" with a 1:7 twist rate. It is fitted with an A2 birdcage flash hider and a threaded muzzle. A fixed A-frame front sight base anchors the sighting system.
The flat-top upper receiver features a T-numbered Picatinny rail, forward assist, shell deflector, and ejection-port cover. Sighting is handled by the fixed A-frame front sight and a polymer flip-up rear sight.
