Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Details: The barrel shows minor finish wear. The bottom of the grip has small dents. The bore is clean and shiny.

The Contender G1 uses a break-open, single-shot action with a trigger-guard opening lever for quick loading and unloading. Its external hammer features a rimfire/centerfire selector, a hallmark of the platform's versatility. The frame is blued carbon steel and factory engraved with the TC cougar-over-globe emblem and scrollwork on the left side.
This configuration is chambered in .44 Magnum with a 10" carbon-steel barrel featuring visible muzzle porting to help manage recoil. Open sights include an adjustable rear and a ramped, serrated front blade for a clear sight picture.
Walnut furniture completes the classic Contender look, with a checkered walnut forend and a one-piece walnut pistol grip that incorporates a black rubber backstrap insert. The buttcap carries the TC medallion, tying together the period-correct details.
