The Echelon 4.0C delivers the compact footprint of the series with a 4-inch, hammer-forged steel barrel finished in Melonite and a billet-machined steel slide wearing a matching black Melonite treatment. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations, an indexing trench, and optic-mount screws. An integral four-slot Picatinny-style accessory rail is molded into the frame.
Springfield’s VIS direct-mount optics interface is built into the slide, and this pistol arrives with a Crimson Trace 5 MOA open-reflex red-dot sight already installed. Iron sights remain on deck with a white-dot front post and a serrated square-notch rear with ledge.
At its core is a stainless-steel COG serialized chassis inside a black polymer grip module with aggressive texture and interchangeable backstraps. The controls include fully ambidextrous slide-stop levers. The striker-fired action incorporates a trigger safety.
Chambered in 9mm Luger with an 18+1 capacity, this 4.0C ships with a generous magazine set: two 18-round steel magazines with grip sleeves and three 15-round flush-fit steel magazines. Markings include SPRINGFIELD ARMORY and ECHELON on the slide, 9x19 on the barrel hood, and HS PRODUKT — MADE IN CROATIA on the frame, reflecting its Croatian manufacture.
