The Dan Wesson DWX is a full-size 9mm that blends a 1911-style single-action trigger with CZ-inspired ergonomics. This example features a stainless-steel frame and slide with a DLC black finish, a 4.95 inch match-grade bushingless, linkless barrel, fiber-optic front and adjustable rear sights, and a full-length dust cover with a multi-slot accessory rail. It comes with three 19-round magazines, the factory case, manual, and box.

The DWX utilizes a locked-breech, tilting-barrel design with a factory match-grade, bushingless, linkless system. The barrel hood is stamped "MATCH" and the top of the barrel is marked "9MM" for clear identification. Capacity is 19+1 with the included double-stack magazines.
Controls and fire-control components are purpose-built: a single-action-only, flat skeletonized trigger; ambidextrous manual thumb safety; and an external skeletonized hammer with an extended beavertail. Texturing on the frontstrap and backstrap, along with red checkered aluminum grip panels bearing the DW logo, provide a secure, consistent hold.
The slide carries front and rear cocking serrations and a flat, serrated top rib with a stylized "DWX" marking. Sights include a green fiber-optic front and an adjustable rear with an elevation "UP" indicator, offering a bright, precise sight picture.
