The Omega is an inline muzzleloader with an external hammer and single-shot operation, offering simple, direct function in the field. This example uses 209 shotshell primers and features a closed-breech inline design with a removable hex-head breech plug at the rear of the barrel for access and cleaning; primers are inserted directly at the breech plug. The ramrod is retained by two stainless thimbles under the barrel.
The 28-inch stainless barrel wears a satin finish and is rollmarked "BLACK POWDER OR PYRODEX ONLY—DO NOT USE SMOKELESS POWDER." The barrel is factory drilled and tapped for a scope base just ahead of the breech, with three mounting holes visible for easy base installation.
Sighting is fast and clear thanks to a red fiber-optic front on a ramp and an adjustable open rear with green fiber-optic elements. This setup provides a bright, defined sight picture in varied light conditions.
The black composite stock is built for durability and control, with molded checkering, a straight comb, and a ventilated recoil pad. It has sling swivel studs installed and a 14.5-inch length of pull. Made in the USA and marked "OMEGA," this configuration matches factory Item No. 8969 for the .45 caliber stainless/composite variant.
