Purpose-built by Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center, this Compact Carry Comp model uses a 4.25 in stainless steel barrel with an integrated compensator (Carry Comp/Power Port) and barrel porting. It retains the compact M2.0 profile while adding Performance Center refinements for control and shootability.
The stainless steel slide wears a black nitride (Melonite-type) finish and features forward and rear chevron serrations, top window cut, and slide ports. An optics-ready cut comes with the cover plate installed and works with the S&W plate system; the factory screw and plate kit is included.
The M2.0 flat-faced, tuned trigger provides a consistent striker-fired pull and incorporates a trigger safety. The pistol is capable of firing with the magazine removed; no magazine disconnect is present. Controls include an ambidextrous slide stop and a left-side magazine release.
Sight picture is straightforward and fast, with a high-visibility green dot front and a plain black rear notch. The black polymer frame includes interchangeable palmswell backstraps to tailor grip size, and a 4-slot Picatinny accessory rail for lights or other rail-mounted accessories.
