The SFx Rival-S uses a steel frame and full-size dimensions for a substantial build, with an unloaded weight of approximately 42.6 oz. It features a 5 in barrel, overall length of 8.09 in, height of 5.70 in, and width of 1.41 in.
The slide is cut for optics and includes a removable rear-sight plate, with mounting plates and hardware provided. It adds front and rear serrations, lightening windows on the top and sides, and a large ejection port. The pistol comes with a red fiber-optic front sight and a fully adjustable, serrated rear sight mounted on the optics plate.
The trigger is a flat-faced aluminum unit with an overtravel stop and a competition-tuned, near-90° break. Safety features include a trigger safety and a firing pin block. A striker status indicator is present at the backplate, and the frame is marked "Fires Without Magazine."
Controls and capacity are oriented for fast reloads and extended strings, with a flared, detachable magazine well branded "CANiK" and an 18+1 capacity. An integrated accessory rail is built into the frame. Markings include "CANiK SFx RIVAL-S" on the slide and "9x19" caliber markings on the barrel hood and near the muzzle.
