This Italian-made Verona LX 501 is a 12 gauge over/under with 28 in barrels, 3 in chambers, and a coin-finished receiver decorated with scroll and game-scene engraving. It features a ventilated rib with a brass bead, a glossy checkered walnut stock, and a single gold-colored trigger with tang safety. It comes with M and F chokes installed and six additional flush screw-in tubes, and carries Italian Gardone Val Trompia proofs with importer marking for Boulder City, NV. The monobloc and forend iron have matching serial numbers.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: There are scratches and blemishes present on the shotgun's finish. The underside of the stock shows numerous scratches. A spot of pitting is present inside the trigger guard and along the vent rib. Barrel fit is loose, and the action drops with little resistance. The firing pins are in good shape.
The locking lug is nearing the 6 o'clock position. There is a very slight right-hand cast to the stock. The ejectors are well timed.

The LX 501 pairs 28 in blued barrels with a ventilated top rib and small brass front bead for a traditional field-ready sighting arrangement. Chambers are stamped CAM. 76 for 3 in shells, with bores marked 18.4 mm and a barrel-set weight mark of KG1.410.
Its coin-finished receiver carries scroll and game-scene engraving with a pointing dog and pheasant motif. The walnut stock and forend feature cut checkering and a glossy finish, complemented by a Deeley-style forend latch and a black ventilated rubber recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.5 in, and the stock shows a very slight right-hand cast.
Controls are straightforward: a single gold-colored trigger and tang safety. The gun is built with ejectors, and the ejectors are properly timed.
Markings include Italian Gardone Val Trompia proofs and an importer line reading "Boulder City, NV – Made in Italy." The monobloc and forend iron carry matching serial numbers.
Choke setup is versatile. The gun has M and F installed, with six additional flush tubes included: IM, CYL, M, IC, IC, IM. A T-handle wrench is provided for changes at the range or in the field.
