The 7 in barrel uses Daniel Defense’s cold hammer forged process with an S2W profile and chrome lining, paired with a 1:7 twist for .300 AAC Blackout. A pistol-length gas system and a factory blast-forward linear compensator are installed on the threaded muzzle.
The Daniel Defense MFR XL 6.0 free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK attachment at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, plus a continuous T-marked 1913 top rail (T1–T29). No iron sights are included, keeping the top rail clear for the user’s choice of sighting system.
The rear features a Maxim Defense CQB pistol brace with dual guide rods, a hook-and-loop strap, and a QD sling socket. Controls include a standard magazine release, a manual safety, and the DD GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous, anti-gas charging handle. A textured polymer pistol grip is installed.
