The 22-inch steel barrel features a sporter profile with an unthreaded muzzle, chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The blued finish complements the BDL configuration and its traditional hunting rifle profile.
The walnut stock is configured with a Monte Carlo comb and raised cheekpiece, point-pattern checkering, a black fore-end tip, a black recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
The action is a right-hand bolt with two forward locking lugs feeding from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate. Capacity is 4+1. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and 1-inch rings with two-piece bases are already installed. There are no iron sights.
Markings include the left receiver rollmark "Remington MODEL 700" and the barrel legend "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. ILION, NY 30-06 SPRG." The barrel date code "KZ" points to May 2005 production, and the rifle was made in the United States.
