The COS21 Compact pairs a 3.5 inch ported, stainless steel bull barrel with a locked-breech, single-action-only, hammer-fired system. The porting and bull profile help manage muzzle movement while maintaining reliability in a compact configuration.
The slide features front and rear cocking serrations, lightening/vent windows, and a factory optic cut that uses the C&H Precision Crosscut footprint. A four-screw cover plate is installed, and a red fiber-optic front blade provides a bright aiming reference; rear sight/optic configuration may vary depending on the cover plate or optic installed.
The hard-coat anodized aluminum frame keeps weight down while the PA-12 polymer COS21 grip module offers an aggressive texture and Cosaint Arms logo. An ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety provide familiar 1911-style controls, complemented by a flat-faced, lightened trigger and skeletonized hammer.
A three-slot accessory rail is integrated into the dustcover for lights or other rail-mounted tools. Capacity is 17+1 with the compact grip configuration, and this pistol ships with two MBX 17-round double-stack magazines.
Fit and finish are clean and purposeful, with a matte gray slide and matching overall finish. The frame is marked "COSAINT ARMS - EAST FLAT ROCK, NC.", and the pistol is made in the USA.
