The 22/45 Lite configuration pairs an aluminum upper with circular lightening ports and a red-anodized inner sleeve over a tensioned stainless steel barrel. The 22/45 polymer frame retains a 1911-style grip angle, and the blowback-operated action delivers the reliable performance the Mark IV series is known for.
The 4.4 inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 TPI and uses a tensioned design inside the aluminum receiver. A TANDEMKROSS compensator is installed, complementing the barrel’s threaded muzzle while maintaining a lightweight, balanced feel.
Ergonomics and manipulation are enhanced with the TANDEMKROSS HiveGrip wraparound grip with hex “hive” texture and finger grooves and the TANDEMKROSS HALO charging ring. Extended red-anodized ambidextrous thumb safeties, an extended magazine release, and a bolt stop provide positive, easy-to-reach controls.
Sighting is handled by a fixed front blade and a fully adjustable rear. A Picatinny top rail is installed. Capacity is 10+1, and the pistol includes four factory Ruger Mark IV/22/45 steel magazines. The Mark IV one-button takedown simplifies maintenance, and the serial prefix "5" denotes it is not subject to Ruger’s 2017 Mark IV recall.
