The Honey Badger SD uses direct-impingement operation with a pistol-length gas system tuned for .300 AAC Blackout. Its 7-inch barrel and fast 1:5 twist rate support a wide range of .300 BLK loadings, while the integral suppressor delivers the SD configuration that keeps the can nested and shrouded under the handguard.
Controls and handling are modern and ambidextrous. It features a short-throw ambidextrous safety selector, a factory ambidextrous Radian Raptor-HB charging handle, and a 2-stage flat-faced trigger. The Q two-rod collapsing PDW stock provides a compact footprint with a 7.5-inch length of pull.
The extended M-LOK handguard, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, shrouds the dedicated Honey Badger titanium silencer and ties into a continuous 12-o'clock Picatinny top rail for mounting accessories along the upper. The upper receiver deletes the forward assist and ejection-port cover and uses a minimal brass deflector to keep the profile sleek.
Construction emphasizes light weight and durability. Clear Type III hard-coat anodized aluminum receivers create the distinctive honey/gray two-tone appearance.
