The SAM7SF series uses a milled steel receiver with a Bulgarian-style lightening cut, providing a robust foundation for the platform. This example is marked "Model: SAM7SF Cal: 7.62x39 Made in BULGARIA., arsenal Las Vegas NV U.S.A." and wears a uniform black finish. It retains the AK front post with hood and the long-stroke, gas-operated action in the classic 7.62x39 chambering.
Upgrades include the Texas Weapon Systems (TWS) railed top cover and the aluminum M-LOK handguard marked KPYK / CRC 14 021, giving ample rail and mounting surfaces. A factory-style left-side optics side rail is also present, offering additional mounting options. The rifle accepts standard AK-pattern detachable box magazines.
An ALG AK trigger, from the Geissele family of triggers, is installed, along with practical controls: a left-side thumb safety lever and a right-side selector with S and F markings. The pistol grip is ATI-marked with finger grooves, and the stock is a tubular side-folder with a leather-wrapped cheek piece for a consistent cheek index when folded or extended.
The 16.3-inch threaded barrel is paired with a two-port muzzle brake secured by a detent pin. Capacity is 30+1 with the included steel magazines. This configuration blends the strength of a milled Bulgarian receiver with proven 7.62x39 performance and carefully chosen enhancements.
