This 1970s-era Smith & Wesson Model 19-4 Combat Magnum is a K-frame, six-shot .357 Magnum with a 4-inch barrel and blued carbon-steel construction. It features the 19-4 engineering update, adjustable iron sights, and a shrouded ejector rod. Aftermarket Pachmayr "Gripper" rubber grips provide a secure, finger-grooved hold.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.

Bore Overall Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

    What’s Included

    • Smith & Wesson Model 19-4 Combat Magnum revolver
    • Installed Pachmayr "Gripper" rubber finger-groove grips

The Model 19-4 is a double-action/single-action .357 Magnum built on the S&W K-frame with a six-shot fluted cylinder and a 4-inch barrel. The blued carbon-steel construction and classic Combat Magnum profile make it a solid representation of the period.

Sight configuration consists of a ramped front sight paired with a micrometer-adjustable rear. The barrel carries a serrated top rib, and the topstrap is also serrated to reduce glare. A shrouded ejector rod complements the barrel’s rib for a purposeful, duty-ready layout.

Controls and working surfaces include a smooth trigger face, an exposed hammer with a checkered spur, and a checkered cylinder latch. The revolver wears aftermarket Pachmayr "Gripper" rubber grips with finger grooves for a secure, hand-filling hold.

Factory markings are present: the S&W trademark crest on the left sideplate; "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side of the barrel and "S.&W. .357 MAGNUM" on the right; and the right-frame legend "MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS." The yoke cut is stamped "MOD. 19-4."

As a 19-4 engineering change, this variant moved the gas ring from the yoke to the cylinder. It was made in the United States during the 1970s and aligns with the Combat Magnum series features that defined the model line.
