The 24" sporter-profile barrel is made from chromoly steel and finished matte black. It is button-rifled, free-floated, and capped with a recessed target crown. This setup supports consistent performance from the long-action .30-06 chambering.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree lift, a recessed bolt face, and a plunger-style ejector. It feeds from a detachable 3-round magazine for a 3+1 capacity. The receiver features a large oval ejection port and a polished bolt body, and it employs a barrel-nut system.
The M.O.A. Trigger System is set at 3.5 lb, paired with a manual safety. The receiver is drilled and tapped for robust 8-40 scope-mount screws, and this rifle includes installed two-piece scope bases marked for the XPR. There are no open sights.
The black synthetic stock includes molded textured panels and a molded textured pistol grip for secure handling. It has a straight comb, an integral polymer trigger guard, a rubber recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 14.0".
Both the barrel and receiver are finished in matte black. A small circular proof/inspection mark is present on the right side of the barrel shank.
