This Colt LE6920 SOCOM is a factory-configured 5.56 NATO carbine built on the AR-15 platform. It features a 14.5 in SOCOM-profile barrel pinned and welded to achieve a 16.1 in overall barrel length, an M203 step, and a carbine-length gas system. The lower receiver is roll marked "PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT. M4A1 CARBINE" with a CR-prefix serial, and the flat-top upper includes a Picatinny rail, forward assist, and ejection-port cover.

The LE6920 SOCOM configuration combines a carbine-length gas system with a SOCOM-profile barrel featuring the M203 step. The barrel is marked "13629 M P 5.56 NATO 1/7" and uses a 1:7 twist suited to a wide range of 5.56 NATO loads. A standard A2 flash hider is pinned and welded to the 14.5 in barrel to reach an overall barrel length of approximately 16.1 in.
The upper is a flat-top Picatinny design with a forward assist and ejection-port cover. Sighting components include an A-frame front sight base with bayonet lug and a flip-up rear sight mounted on the receiver rail marked "PICATINNY." This rifle uses a non-free-float, carbine-length M4 RAS-style quad-rail handguard with numbered T-markings.
The lower receiver carries the "PROPERTY OF U.S. GOVT. M4A1 CARBINE" roll mark and a CR-prefix serial, with a QR/matrix code above the magwell. The rifle is built on aluminum receivers and accepts STANAG-pattern magazines. Controls and furniture include a 6-position collapsible stock with sling loop and an A2-style pistol grip.
Capacity is 30+1 with the included USGI-pattern 30-round aluminum magazine from Okay Industries (CAGE 33710). Additional rail accessories included are a quad-rail-compatible vertical foregrip and a ribbed polymer rail cover panel, both not installed.
