This M45A1 is a Series 80, single-action, full-size 1911 with a forged stainless steel slide and frame coated in a Desert Sand finish. The 5" stainless National Match barrel uses a traditional bushing system, and the barrel hood is marked "COLT 45 AUTO N.M." A dual recoil-spring assembly supports the slide cycle.
Controls and sighting are purpose-driven: fixed 3-dot tritium night sights with a Trijicon H3 16 rear, ambidextrous thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, long solid trigger, and a skeletonized ring hammer. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port.
The frame features an integral MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny dust-cover rail with five slots, a flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and a lightly beveled magazine well. Textured multi-tone G10-style grip panels provide a secure hold. Capacity is 7+1, and the approximate weight is 40 oz.
Markings and identifiers reinforce its CQBP lineage: the UID 2D matrix, "U.S." frame stamp, and serial suffix "EGA" are present. The model is cataloged under MPN 01070M45 and is made in the United States.
