The V3 configuration delivers traditional DA/SA operation with a rear-mounted decocking button, giving the user precise control over the hammer. The ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release supports intuitive operation for right- or left-handed shooters. Safety features include a firing pin block, hammer intercept notch, disconnector, drop safety, HK Lock-Out device, and a loaded chamber indicator.
Built in Germany, this P2000SK features a polymer frame and a steel barrel with six-sided polygonal rifling and a factory-standard twist rate for .40 S&W. The slide wears a black finish, and the fixed 3-dot sights are drift-adjustable at the rear. A short accessory rail with a single locking slot is integrated for compact-light compatibility.
Chambered in .40 S&W, the P2000SK carries a 9+1 capacity and includes two 9-round steel magazines. The interchangeable backstrap system allows grip fit adjustment, and this example includes a spare backstrap. The platform also accepts extended P2000 magazines when used with the factory-endorsed X-Grip adapter.
Proofed at Ulm with the eagle over N C.I.P. nitro mark and the Ulm stag antler, this pistol is date coded AG (2006) and import-marked HK Inc. Trussville, AL. The slide, barrel, and frame carry matching serials. The P2000 series was selected by U.S.
DHS/ICE in 2004 trials, underscoring the design’s service pedigree.
