Built on the AR-15 platform and chambered in 6mm ARC, this limited GFR-05 celebrates Geissele’s two decades of manufacturing with a factory-engraved magwell graphic reading "GEISSELE 20 YEARS – 19 of 20." The receiver set carries a bright metallic blue finish, and the rifle is made in North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA.
The rifle uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system. Its barrel measures 14.5 inches and is pinned and welded to a legal overall length of 16.5 inches. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with a 3-prong flash-hider style device that is permanently attached.
A long free-float aluminum handguard provides a continuous, numbered Picatinny top rail (T-marks), integrated QD sockets, and M-LOK-style accessory slots. The upper includes right-hand ejection, a forward assist, and an ejection-port dust cover. Controls include an ambidextrous safety, an enlarged/textured bolt catch, and a standard magazine release.
Signature Geissele parts are present throughout, including the Super Charging Handle (PN 05-37B) and a Geissele-marked bolt carrier. The rifle is equipped with a collapsible polymer stock and a black textured polymer pistol grip. Capacity is 8+1 with the included steel 6mm ARC magazines.
