The 20 in heavy-wall barrel is a Cyl Bore configuration and is paired with a 3" chamber to handle both 2.75" and 3" 12 gauge shells. Factory sights include a receiver-mounted adjustable ghost-ring rear and a protected front post with an orange insert for fast, precise indexing.
Steel components wear a parkerized/phosphate finish, while the aluminum alloy receiver is matte black. The receiver is roll-marked "M590A1" with "MOSSBERG NORTH HAVEN, CT U.S.A." markings. An integrated bayonet lug is built into the forward barrel/magazine clamp.
The under-barrel tubular magazine is stated at 6+1 capacity and includes a clean-out magazine tube. Dual extractors and twin action bars support consistent cycling. Controls are straightforward, with a tang-mounted manual safety, metal safety button, and a metal trigger guard.
The black synthetic stock has a fixed profile, a rubber recoil pad, and a rear sling swivel stud. Up front, the ribbed synthetic forend provides a secure grasp. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches, and the overall setup reflects Mossberg’s 590A1 configuration built in the United States.
