The SCR-11 receiver set deletes the forward assist and adds JP's side-charging, non-reciprocating handle for direct control of the action. Controls include ambidextrous gold safety levers, an enlarged textured gold magazine release, a bolt-catch extension lever, and a flat-faced single-stage gold trigger.
The barrel is a JP Supermatch 14.5 in .223 Wylde with a 1:8 twist, paired with a low-profile externally adjustable gas block for fine tuning. Its pinned and welded brake brings the legal overall barrel length to 16.5 in. A JP Thermal Dissipator heat-sink is installed to enhance barrel heat management.
The rifle uses a JP MK III Rapid Configuration free-float aluminum handguard with knurling and ventilation. The upper provides a full-length T-marked Picatinny rail. No sights are included, allowing the user to configure as desired.
Furniture includes a Magpul ACS-L collapsible stock and a JP overmolded finger-groove pistol grip. The metallic red anodized receivers and handguard are complemented by gold anodized accents. This direct-impingement, semi-automatic rifle is chambered in .223 Wylde with a 30+1 capacity.
