Built on Ruger’s 77/50 platform, this inline bolt-action muzzleloader uses No. 11 percussion caps and caps by opening the bolt, combining familiar Ruger handling with straightforward ignition. A removable breech plug with a rear-extraction design simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
The All-Weather configuration pairs a matte stainless steel barrel and receiver with a grey/green laminated hardwood stock designed for resilience in varied conditions. The stock includes a rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs for field carry.
The 22 in stainless barrel features a 1:28 twist. Ruger’s integral scope bases are machined into the receiver, and this rifle comes set up with scope rings and a Bushnell Banner 4x scope for a clear, fixed-power sight picture.
Factory markings include “RUGER ALL-WEATHER 77/50” with the Ruger crest on the receiver and “CALIBER .50 — FOR BLACK POWDER OR PYRODEX ONLY.” on the barrel. An under-barrel full-length ramrod with a brass/bronze tip is included, and the rifle retains Ruger’s three-position safety. The model was produced from 1997 to 2004; this example was manufactured in 1998 in the USA.
