The RDB-17 is a downward-ejecting bullpup chambered in 5.56mm NATO, using a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system with a rotating bolt. It accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines and ships here with a 20-round Magpul PMAG, providing a 20+1 capacity.
The 16.1 in barrel is made from 4140 steel, treated with a QPQ nitride finish, and threaded for muzzle devices. An A2-style flash hider is installed. The 1:7 twist supports common 5.56 loads effectively.
Controls and interfaces are designed for versatility: a two-position ambidextrous safety, a non-reciprocating folding charging handle on the left side that is reversible, and provisions for mounting optics via Picatinny rail. The rifle wears a black finish throughout.
This example includes a metal M-LOK-style handguard and an installed polymer vertical foregrip, adding modular mounting slots and a stable forward hold. The adjustable gas regulator supports tuning for various ammunition or conditions.
Made in the USA, this RDB-17 arrives with its factory box labeled "RDB-17 BLACK," the owner's manual, a black web sling, and a small hardware bag, complementing its clean overall presentation.
